Making a statement
Do you ever look into wardrobe and feel like all you own is the same old Black, White and Grey tones. Be it any event, you might think that there is more to your closet than those colours and you still go ” Aaahhh, I’ve got nothing to wear so Imma just wear Black”. You end up pulling out the same dang outfit again, which works every single time. I mean of course you can never go wrong with wearing black or white or grey. Basics obviously! But I wanted to make sure I could switch up my look. And just by adding a statement piece, it sure does make a difference.
OUTFIT #1
Lately been watching the latest Spring/Summer ’19 runway looks and Plaid has been ruling every season. And I’m so obsessed with this pair I’m wearing from Zara. Absolutely love the high waist baggy fit of these pants and its perfect with the belt detail to give it that cinched waist look. To keep up that subtle yet sophisticated look I paired the pants with a nude bodysuit. I also added a black coat (its still kinda cold out here) and black ankle boots. I added a fun snakeskin piece from Topshop to jazz it up coz why not! In my opinion, neutral or muted tones and prints definitely go together for that perfect outfit.
OUTFIT #2
For my second look, I paired the same pants and nude bodysuit with a white blazer from Vero Moda and my favorite white pointed toe ankle boots for that elongated look. Its a perfect combination of modern classy and casual look.
